I have been living in Colorado for the Last eight years. I lived in Colorado when I was going to high school in Denver at John F. Kennedy where I met my husband. I got married after high school and my husband joined the Army. I have had the privilege of traveling with him in his many deployments. Together we have three children who are now all grown. I now have two beautiful granddaughters who I am blessed to see often. I have many hobbies. I paint oil landscapes, large embroideries, and once tried my hand at sewing, with moderate success. I enjoy fitness activities and being outside. I like learning and trying new things as well as teaching others when I can. I love the ocean and the mountains, alike. I definitely do not like being cold so Colorado winters are hard for me! Nonetheless, this is where I have decided to make my home. |

I have lived in Brighton all my life; I love the small town atmosphere. My husband James is also from Brighton and teaches 3rd grade for Brighton School District. I have two beautiful children; my son James Joseph is going to college to follow in his father footsteps and become a math teacher. My daughter, Gabby, will be graduating from BHS this school year 2013-2014 and attending Metro State University next fall and will be studying Athletic Training. In my free time away from school I love to run and train for half marathons and I love to spend time with our four small dogs Paco, Charlie, Whiskey and Jack. |

I was born in Colorado in 1973. I lived in Brighton until third grade and then my Dad's job got transferred to Illinois where we lived 30 minutes from St. Louis, Missouri. I am a middle child to my older sister and younger brother. Growing up I played baseball, wrestling and football. I graduated from high school in 1992 from a high school whose mascot was a Shell based on the Shell Oil Company. After graduation I moved back and forth between Colorado and Illinois. Having lived in two states, I'm a fan of the teams from both cities. I love both states, but my heart always favored Colorado because of the Rocky Mountains. My favorite thing to do is go camping and fishing. |
